listmonk is a self-hosted newsletter and one-way mailing list manager that runs as a single binary against a Postgres database. It manages subscribers, double opt-in lists, campaigns, templates, analytics and transactional messages, and can push messages through SMTP or through HTTP messenger webhooks for SMS, WhatsApp and FCM. It is aimed at technical operators, publishers and teams that want to keep subscriber data in their own database. There is only one edition — the AGPL-3.0 self-hosted build, with no paid tier — and it does not provide sending infrastructure, a hosted server or bounce-mailbox hosting, so the operator supplies the server, Postgres, an SMTP relay and a POP3 bounce mailbox or a provider bounce API.

- No feature gates or subscriber caps in the software itself, but no sending infrastructure either: the operator supplies the server, a Postgres database (12 or newer), an SMTP server for outbound mail, and a POP3 bounce mailbox or a provider bounce API such as SES or SendGrid.
